Artificial Intelligence...

It's a funny thing isn't it? A man made program made up of all different parts can have a full blown conversation with you, and not just a "Hi, my name is Botty bot 56". Bot's these day's can actually have a full blown conversation with you.

Here's a few examples of how smart (And sometimes stupid) these AI Bots really are.

The Three Chat Bot's... or People.

First off we have Jeeney (www.jeeney.com)

Um... She's a chat bot AI..... Not much else to say....

Me: I like Blue, Red is my favorite color.
Jeeney said:Why is that one your favorite?
Me: It's my favorite because it's the color of love.
Jeeney said:Cool! What else do you like?
Me: I like Aliens, What about you?
Jeeney said:I haven't decided yet, we'll see how it goes.
Me: Can you remember my name?
Jeeney said:My memory is a little hazy, but I'm pretty sure I am speaking with Jamie am I not?
Me: That is correct. I have to go now. Bye.
Jeeney said:=) Okay, hurry back when you can. Alright, take care Jamie."

So as we can see from Jeeney, She has a good memory. As seen she can remember the name from the start of the Conversation and then can repeat it later on. She also has the capability to remember names to the next conversation. So if you start a conversation, then leave the webpage. Go back to it again using the same Computer/IP she will be able to remember your name. She very slightly contradicted herself at the start by saying 

"Great! Somebody to talk to, finally!"

 Then later on saying 

"Busy busy, there has been a lot of people stopping by to chat lately. :)"

 We can also learn from the conversation that she hasn't learnt or talked much about the topic of aliens, she is undecided on whether or she likes them. (Shall have to check back at a later date)

Me:  That's good. I'm fine thanks for asking.

Cleverbot:  That's nice.

Cleverbot:  Really? I guess we have that in common.
Me:  I like Aliens, What about you?
Cleverbot:  At the moment I am.
Me:  Can you remember my name?
Cleverbot:  You never told me in the first place.
Me:  Yes I did.
Cleverbot:  What is my name?
Me:  Cleverbot?
Cleverbot:  Tell me my name.
Me:  You name is Cleverbot.
Cleverbot:  Yes, it is.
Me:  Good, I have to go now. Bye.
Cleverbot:  Why? Where you going?

So... Cleverbot. Well straight off we can see that Cleverbot is not so clever when it comes to remembering names or so when it comes to answering questions to whether or not he likes Aliens. Although Cleverbot does not know his own name he was one of the two out of three to ask how I was doing as well. Cleverbot would of been a good chat had he been able to remember my name and remember his own name.

Me: Hello Alice
A.L.I.C.E.: Hi there!
Me:  My name is Jamie. How are you?
A.L.I.C.E.: Nice to meet you, Jamie. I'm doing fine thanks how are you?
Me:  That's good. I'm fine thanks for asking.
A.L.I.C.E.: Thanks. Next question? Don't mention it.
Me:  What is your favourite colour?
A.L.I.C.E.: My favorite color is green. What is yours?
Me:  I like Blue, Red is my favorite color.
A.L.I.C.E.: You like Blue Red is color.
Me:  It's my favorite because it's the color of love.
A.L.I.C.E.: I've heard of it before.
Me:  I like Aliens, What about you?
A.L.I.C.E.: What do you like about it?
Me:  Can you remember my name?
A.L.I.C.E.: You said your name is Jamie?
Me:  That is correct. I have to go now. Bye.
A.L.I.C.E.: I knew I was right. See you later. Sayonara.

So, Alice. She gave a good chat, She remembered my name from the start of the conversation and was able to answer all the questions within reason and able to make sense while answering them. She was also one of the two to ask me how I was, along with what my favorite color was.

So over all, The Three AI/Bot's/Things/W.e things did good.

They all answered the questions within reason and were able to make sense.

They all have their different capabilities and they all have their limits to what they can do.

But apart from that all three bot's give a high standard chat.
