Artificial Intelligence. 

Artificial Intelligence is something that has always interested me.

There has recently been a new competition opened which will allow chat bots the chance to compete against each other for a grand prize of $1500.

The rules for the challenge are simple.

• Only English speaking ChatBots are allowed to enter.
• The registration for ChatBots participating in the contest is free of cost.
• The Contest is organized on a worldwide platform, so ChatBots from each and every region can participate.
• A person can register One ChatBot on his/her name. It also refers to the point that you can't enter different or modified versions of the same bot that have been intentionally designed towards winning a certain category.
• Although the Robo Chat Challenge welcomes all bots originality which is a key factor in determining how successful a concerned bot will be during the course of competition. Blatant clones will be disqualified from the contest straight away.
• AIML, ALICE Bots - the participants are free to enter a bot using AIML (Artificial Intelligence Markup Language) or using ALICE or some other database.
• If a judge can not complete the conversation with the bot, then it will be disqualified from the contest.
• ChatBots should be available 24/7 online (i.e., maintenance work should be done before registering ChatBots into the contest), so judges from various locations could examine them at any time.
• Your bots should be easily accessible to our panel of judges.
• X-Rated ChatBots will not be allowed to enter the contest.
• Only the panel of judges will have the right to choose the winner on the basis of fairness and efficiency of the content and the decision in this regard will be treated as final.

 So far there are 13 participants signed up.

After reading his bio and stuff I was looking forward to the conversation... it really seemed to be a detailed and great Bot... Very disappointed. But oh well...

Artificial Intelligence...

It's a funny thing isn't it? A man made program made up of all different parts can have a full blown conversation with you, and not just a "Hi, my name is Botty bot 56". Bot's these day's can actually have a full blown conversation with you.

Here's a few examples of how smart (And sometimes stupid) these AI Bots really are.

The Three Chat Bot's... or People.

So as we can see from Jeeney, She has a good memory. As seen she can remember the name from the start of the Conversation and then can repeat it later on. She also has the capability to remember names to the next conversation. So if you start a conversation, then leave the webpage. Go back to it again using the same Computer/IP she will be able to remember your name. She very slightly contradicted herself at the start by saying 

"Great! Somebody to talk to, finally!"

 Then later on saying 

"Busy busy, there has been a lot of people stopping by to chat lately. :)"

 We can also learn from the conversation that she hasn't learnt or talked much about the topic of aliens, she is undecided on whether or she likes them. (Shall have to check back at a later date)

So... Cleverbot. Well straight off we can see that Cleverbot is not so clever when it comes to remembering names or so when it comes to answering questions to whether or not he likes Aliens. Although Cleverbot does not know his own name he was one of the two out of three to ask how I was doing as well. Cleverbot would of been a good chat had he been able to remember my name and remember his own name.

So, Alice. She gave a good chat, She remembered my name from the start of the conversation and was able to answer all the questions within reason and able to make sense while answering them. She was also one of the two to ask me how I was, along with what my favorite color was.

So over all, The Three AI/Bot's/Things/W.e things did good.

They all answered the questions within reason and were able to make sense.

They all have their different capabilities and they all have their limits to what they can do.

But apart from that all three bot's give a high standard chat.
